As we get ready to have a lot of fun with your kids, you can get ready by planning healthy lunch and snacks for them. We are a very active summer camp so getting nutrients is extra important.
We usually begin with a light snack before we reach our first adventure. We recommend fruits or yogurt. Almonds, pecans and other nuts are great through the day!
Lunch should be filled with protein and produce. Turkey, chicken or ham sandwiches are a hit. Add some veggies in or next to it.
We have another snack before the end of the day. Granola bars, fruit rolls and other things that can stand the heat are great for this late snack.
Make sure the kids always bring a reusable water bottle. We always try to find fresh water wherever we go so we can fill them when we are out. Staying hydrated will keep the kids energy for our next adventures!
