Summer Camp Themes
Campers travel via CapMetro with an adult field trip leader from their drop-off park to their weekly-themed destinations for fun, educational activities.
There is a great deal of walking, with a focus on fitness and healthy eating during our camp.

What does a week of camp look like?
Each week will be focused on different themes:
- Nature/Environment - This camp will explore the best green spaces around Austin as well as learn about the history of the Texas natural environment.
- Arts/Culture - Explore the lively art of Austin. During this theme, campers will visit a variety of art galleries, museums, and theaters. Throughout the week, they will also have the opportunity to creative their own are art and music.
- Texas History/Diversity - Come learn about the past, present, and future of Austin. Through the field trips in this theme campers will visit iconic Austin landmarks and museums.
- Health/Fitness - Campers will experience and learn about various sports/fitness activities from professionals in the Austin area. They will also learn about the importance of healthy habits and the power of food.
- SERVE in the City (only 8-12 year olds) - Visit, learn about, and complete service projects for a variety of local nonprofits in Austin. Each trip involves learning about that organization and helping them with an activity or project. This week will focus on the importance of volunteering and giving back to our community.
- Mixed Theme (only 4-8 year olds) - This is the perfect theme for the camper that wants to try a little bit of everything.

- Camp runs weekly from May 27 - August 22, 2025 (closed week of July 4th)
- Ages 4-13 accepted at all parks
- Each park has three age groups: 4-7, 7-10, 10-13
(parents can choose which group for their 7 and 10 year olds)
- We use CapMetro to adventure around the city
- Siblings that are in separate age groups can stay together (in younger group) if requested
- Hours 8:30am - 5:30pm
- $475/week
- Early bird pricing $450/week (register between Jan. 1 - Jan. 31)
- First ATX Kids Club shirt provided, additional shirts are $15.
