Teen Advisory Board
Our Teen Advisory Board (TAB) consists of an incredible group of 13-17 year olds that are committed to serving their community and advocating for ATX KIDS CLUB. Our TAB members bring their unique perspectives, creativity, and energy to everything we do. They actively participate in brainstorming sessions, community events, provide valuable feedback on programs, and spearhead fundraising initiatives. Through their dedication, they help shape the direction of ATX KIDS CLUB.
Our TAB is comprised of students who volunteered with us over the summer. At the end of the summer, ATX KIDS CLUB staff nominate teen leaders that went above and beyond to join the advisory board. If you are interested in joining our Teen Leadership Program, applications for summer '25 will open on February 1st.

Hi! My name is Chaitra Surapaneni, a junior at Westwood High School. As a teen volunteer I loved working with the kids and taking them on adventures through Austin. My favorite memories at camp was when we went to the Blanton art museum and watched the kids explore all the different art installations and see how interested they were. It is so fun watching the kids explore, be creative, and learn new things and I love taking a part of that. Hey! My name is Arnav Srinivasa, and I’ve been with ATX Kids Club for 2 years! Last summer I was a teen volunteer at Pease Park, working with kids ages 4-12 and taking them on fun educational trips around Austin. I’ve had one of the best summer experiences ever, with my favorite experiences being the exploration of the LBJ museum and touring the Blanton Art Museum. It was an incredible experience seeing the curiosity and joy of kids come to life as they made lasting friendships, engaged in fun activities, and learned so much about Texas History, art, and the culture that makes Austin so beautiful. I’m so excited to be a part of the Teen Advisory Board this year and the new journeys that I will be a part of this year!
